Olga Mitrović

Olga Mitrović  holds an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies from Australian National University and MSc in International Migration and Public Policy from the London School of Economics. She has worked for IOM Serbia and the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration on policy development on the EU and SDC projects in the field of asylum, refugee and IDP protection, migration management and diaspora.  Her research interests include international humanitarian and human rights law, protracted refugee crises, EU asylum acquis  and migration and development.

Asylum seekers in the EU: the road to nowhere

Last weekend two events at the Western Balkans migratory route deepened the acute humanitarian crisis.
