Nidžara Ahmetašević, Doctoral student at the Centre for Southeast European Studies and a well known Bosnian journalist, won the Ekrem Tinjak prize for the best reportage in Bosnia. The prize is support by the OSCE.

On 26 January 2012 Armina Galijaš participated in the round table discussion "Unvollendeter Friede in Bosnien-Herzegowina", organised by the 7th faculty and the theological factulty of the University of Graz. Marko Kmezic will be presenting a paper on "Constitutional Dimensions of Cultural and Territorial Pluralism in the Balkans in Light of the EU Integrations: Case Study — Serbia" and Florian will be discussant for a Panel on "Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2012: Stuck (or Lost?) between Dayton and Europe" and lead a workshop on "How to Get an Article Published."
